Man threatens police officers with knife in Immenstaad
A 49-year-old man allegedly threatened police officers with a knife and an imitation weapon on Wednesday evening near Am Klötzenen Forst in Immenstaad. A caller had previously reported that the apparently intoxicated man was walking through the forest with a sledgehammer and harassing passers-by. Officers used pepper spray and provisionally detained him. Police said he strongly resisted the subsequent measures. At hospital, he insulted police officers and medical staff and kicked at a doctor. The investigation is ongoing.
