Man threatens youths with machete in Bühl
A man allegedly confronted three youths with a machete at Europaplatz in Bühl at about 10:15 p.m. on 13 August. Police said the incident followed firecrackers being thrown at people. The man allegedly used pepper spray against one youth, causing skin irritation. During a subsequent scuffle, the machete was taken from him before he apparently could use it. After initially leaving, he returned and allegedly struck one youth in the face, slightly injuring him. The man was provisionally detained, and police later seized a knife and the pepper spray.
