Man remanded after serious injury in Husum flat
A 48-year-old man was seriously injured with a pointed object during an altercation in a flat on Norderstraße in Husum on 2 February. He suffered life-threatening injuries, underwent emergency surgery and remained in critical condition, police said.
Police investigated a 21-year-old man who was alleged to have gone to the flat beforehand. At the request of Flensburg prosecutors, a judge issued a warrant on suspicion of attempted manslaughter. The suspect was arrested and taken to prison while the investigation continues.
