Woman seriously injured with kitchen knife in Hünfelden bakery
At a bakery in the Hünfelden district of Kirberg, a 50-year-old man is alleged to have attacked his estranged wife with a kitchen knife. The woman sustained serious stab and cut injuries and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
According to initial findings, bystanders intervened and prevented further acts. The man was also injured and flown to hospital by rescue helicopter. Criminal police are investigating him on suspicion of attempted homicide.
