Two men injured in Hildesheim bar

A 41-year-old man allegedly injured two men aged 25 and 28 with a knife in a bar on Wollenweberstraße in Hildesheim at around 12:30 p.m. on 16 August. Police said the incident followed a physical confrontation involving those present. The injuries were described as superficial, and one of the men received outpatient hospital treatment. A 19-year-old intervened, after which the accused fled. Police detained him the following day and a court ordered pre-trial detention. The man denies using a knife; investigations into dangerous bodily harm and attempted homicide are continuing.
