Armed robbery at petrol station in Herne
Two masked offenders robbed a petrol station on Bochumer Straße in Herne on Friday evening. At around 9:40 p.m., they threatened a 57-year-old employee with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. They then fled on foot with the proceeds in the direction of Gräffstraße. The employee was unharmed, and criminal police are investigating.
