Man threatens witnesses with knife in Hemer
During a relationship dispute on Urbecker Straße in Hemer on 8 July, a 20-year-old man allegedly threatened witnesses with a knife after they intervened. Witnesses said he had previously argued with his 18-year-old girlfriend, involving shouting, pushing and hitting. One witness sustained a cut injury. Officers overpowered, restrained and took the man into custody after he allegedly struck, insulted and threatened them. His minor girlfriend allegedly also attacked witnesses and later hit a police officer with a beer bottle while fleeing.
