Woman fatally injured in knife attack in Heilbronn
In Heilbronn, a 76-year-old man is suspected of attacking his 72-year-old wife with a knife and fatally injuring her. Police said verbal arguments had preceded the attack in their shared home at about 06:15 on 3 August. The woman died at the scene. The suspect was brought before a judge the following day, who issued and enforced a detention order on suspicion of manslaughter. Police and prosecutors are continuing to investigate the background.
