Man seriously injured in altercation in Hanover
A 44-year-old man was seriously injured during an altercation in Hanover's Nordstadt district on Wednesday lunchtime. According to preliminary findings, he met a 28-year-old man at around 12:30 p.m. on Weidendamm over a planned car sale. Following a verbal dispute and a physical confrontation, the 28-year-old is alleged to have attacked the 44-year-old with a knife. Emergency services took the injured man to hospital; police said there was no danger to his life. The suspect initially fled and was later identified. The investigation is ongoing.
