Attempted petrol station robbery with knife in Hanover
Two unidentified men attempted to rob a petrol station in Hanover's Linden-Mitte district on 6 January. At about 7 p.m., they went to the business on Badenstedter Straße and tried to enter the sales area through the main entrance. One of the men held a knife. The 28-year-old employee had already locked the door and put the night service window into operation. The men fled without any proceeds after being unable to enter the sales area. The employee was not injured. Police are investigating suspected attempted aggravated robbery and are seeking witnesses.
