24-year-old seriously injured by multiple stab wounds in Hanover
An unidentified man seriously injured a 24-year-old with multiple stab wounds at the junction of Leibnizufer and Martin-Neuffer-Brücke in Hanover on Monday evening. The 24-year-old was at the traffic-light junction with two friends at about 21:45 when the attacker approached him. His companions pulled him away from the assailant, preventing worse harm according to police. Paramedics took the injured man to hospital, while the attacker fled. Police are investigating suspected attempted homicide and are seeking witnesses.
