Two men seriously injured in knife attack in Hanover
Several unknown attackers used knives to seriously injure two men outside a home on Bertramstraße in Hanover-Hainholz early Saturday. The 19-year-old and 21-year-old men were about to enter the house at around 1:50 a.m. when they were attacked. One suffered a stab wound to the head and the other sustained multiple stab wounds to the back. Both went to a hospital themselves and were admitted for observation; police said neither was in life-threatening condition. The attackers fled in a dark car, and police are investigating attempted manslaughter.
