Man attacked with pointed object in attempted robbery in Hanau
An offender is suspected of demanding a 47-year-old man's phone and bag on Brahmsweg in Hanau on Friday evening. When the man refused, police say the offender thrust a pointed object at his chest. A phone carried in the victim's jacket absorbed the attack and, together with the jacket, was damaged, apparently preventing a potentially serious injury. The offender fled and criminal police are searching for him.
