Man seriously injured in alleged knife attack in Hanau
A 35-year-old man was seriously injured on Thursday morning at a flat on Freigerichtstraße in Hanau. Police and prosecutors said a 27-year-old is alleged to have used a knife against him at about 9:20 a.m. The injured man sustained injuries to his chest and was treated in hospital. The suspect was provisionally detained within minutes, and an investigating judge ordered pre-trial detention. The circumstances are still under investigation.
