Unknown man threatens three men with knife in Claußnitz
In Claußnitz, an unknown man allegedly stole a parked van on 13 March and threatened three men with a knife when they tried to stop him from leaving. Two men had parked the vehicle with its rear doors open for loading, and a 59-year-old man was on the loading area. When the suspect drove off, the 59-year-old fell and sustained minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. The driver initially fled in the van, later collided with a shopping-cart shelter in Altmittweida and then ran away. Police are seeking the unknown man and are investigating, among other matters, suspected robbery-related theft.
