Man robs Hamburg ice cream café with knife
An unidentified man wearing a grey scarf as a mask robbed an ice cream café in Hamburg-Eppendorf on 14 May. He entered the business in the afternoon, threatened the 20-year-old employee, who was alone in the shop, with a knife and demanded cash from the till. She handed over money, and he fled with a small amount. An immediate search involving around ten patrol cars, a police motorcycle and a helicopter did not result in an arrest. The robbery unit is continuing the investigation.
