Man remanded after knife attack in Hamburg

A 40-year-old man is alleged to have attacked a 44-year-old course participant with a kitchen knife at a social support facility in Hamburg-Hamm on 29 April. The victim suffered multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds and was taken to hospital. Another participant took the knife away from the attacker. Police provisionally arrested the suspect, and a judge later issued a remand order. The investigation into attempted homicide is continuing.
