Man arrested after knife incident at Berlin bar

A 33-year-old man allegedly entered a bar on Otto-Suhr-Allee in Berlin-Charlottenburg at about 12:50 a.m. and insulted guests. Following an argument with a guest, police said he slapped a 23-year-old man. When several guests tried to restrain him, he allegedly produced a utility knife. A 37-year-old sustained a deep cut to the forearm and a 40-year-old suffered a superficial cut to the hand. The 37-year-old was admitted to hospital, and doctors said his life was not in danger. Police arrested the man, who also faces allegations of resisting officers and insulting an officer.
