Man arrested after acquaintance suffers stab injuries in Hamburg
A 33-year-old man allegedly injured a 27-year-old acquaintance in an apartment in Hamburg-Hamm on Sunday morning. According to police, the 27-year-old had gone to sleep before the suspect allegedly attacked him for reasons that remain unclear with a stabbing or cutting instrument. Emergency workers found stab injuries to the victim's upper body and took him to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries; his condition was stable. The suspect initially fled but was provisionally arrested nearby. Homicide detectives and prosecutors are conducting the further investigation.
