Man critically injured in knife attack in Hamburg-Harburg

A 26-year-old man was critically injured by multiple knife wounds in Hamburg-Harburg on 20 March. He told police that he had become involved in a verbal argument with three unknown men on the street near Wallgraben and Martin-Leuschel-Ring. The men allegedly then attacked and stabbed him. The injured man called an ambulance himself, and emergency personnel took him to hospital for emergency surgery. Police said his condition has since stabilised. The homicide unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances and is seeking witnesses.
