Man seriously injured in altercation in Hamburg-Winterhude
Following a street festival in Hamburg-Winterhude, a 29-year-old man was seriously injured during an altercation involving several people. He was allegedly first struck with a bottle and then injured in the neck by one attacker using an unknown stabbing instrument. Ambulance staff treated him before he was taken to hospital; his injuries were not life-threatening. Four to five suspects fled towards Hofweg. An initial search did not result in arrests, and the homicide unit is investigating.
