Two people injured with knife in Hamburg, woman found dead
A 25-year-old man is alleged to have attacked and injured his 51-year-old relative with a knife in an apartment in Hamburg-Marienthal early on Tuesday. A 40-year-old fellow resident was also injured when he came to her aid. Both were treated in hospital and, according to police, were not in life-threatening condition.
The man was provisionally detained in the apartment and was also treated medically for injuries of his own. During a subsequent check of his apartment in Hamburg-Hoheluft-West, officers found a dead woman. Her identity had not initially been conclusively established; police are investigating indications that she died violently and are examining both scenes.
