Man, 58, critically injured with stab wounds in Halle
Police in Halle (Saale) are investigating attempted manslaughter after a 58-year-old tenant was found in his apartment with life-threatening injuries, including stab wounds. Witnesses reported a loud altercation at the apartment building on Hettstedter Straße during the night leading into Sunday; the man and four others had reportedly been drinking there beforehand. The four other people left before officers arrived. Paramedics took the injured man to hospital.
