Two men injured with a knife outside a Berlin bar

Two men sustained stab wounds outside a bar on Pannierstraße in Berlin-Neukölln on 24 October 2026; one also suffered cuts. According to police, three unknown people tried to enter the bar at around 3:40 a.m., but a 29-year-old female employee refused them entry. They allegedly struck her, and a 36-year-old man and a 31-year-old man came to her aid. The older man briefly held two of the attackers before they broke free and the three initially fled. Bar guests then noticed a bleeding stab wound to his leg. The group returned and allegedly injured the 31-year-old with a knife, leaving him with a stab wound to his leg and stab and cut wounds to his buttocks. Both men required surgery in hospital but were not in danger of dying, police said. The employee suffered facial injuries and initially declined treatment. Guests and police officers provided first aid to the two men until paramedics arrived. A search for the group after it fled again was unsuccessful, and criminal police are investigating.
