Two men use knives in dispute on a Halle city bus
A dispute between a 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old man escalated into a fight on a city bus in Halle (Saale), during which both used knives. An uninvolved woman felt threatened, broke a window out of fear and climbed out of the bus. She sustained a minor cut to her hand.
The confrontation then moved outside the bus, where a glass bottle was also used. The 31-year-old suffered minor cuts and required outpatient treatment, while the 24-year-old sustained a head laceration. Both men were located at the scene. The 31-year-old was initially arrested but released after further inquiries.
