Attempted aggravated robbery involving a knife in Halle-Neustadt
A 19-year-old suspect is alleged to have threatened a 44-year-old woman with a knife and demanded money in a flat in Halle-Neustadt at about 1:55 p.m. on Friday. A 21-year-old man from Halle (Saale), who was also in the flat, intervened. Together with another female witness, he restrained the suspect until police arrived. The 21-year-old sustained minor injuries to his neck and received outpatient treatment. Police seized the knife and opened an investigation into the 19-year-old; the motive remains under investigation.
