Man seriously injured in stabbing and cutting attack in Halle
On Saturday, a 50-year-old man became involved in a dispute with a man from a group at the bus station on Ernst-Kamieth-Straße in Halle. Shortly afterwards, the victim called for help. He had suffered stab and cut injuries and was taken to hospital in serious condition, where he is receiving intensive care. The group fled the scene. A possible weapon was not found. A 27-year-old man initially detained was not, at the current stage, further treated as a suspect. Police are investigating attempted manslaughter.
