Attempted robbery with kitchen knife in Halle (Saale)
On Friday evening, an unidentified man is alleged to have approached a married couple at Thomas-Müntzer-Platz in Halle (Saale) and demanded their valuables while displaying a kitchen knife. Police said the knife had a blade about ten centimetres long, and the man was about three metres away from the victims.
After the woman called for help, an uninvolved witness noticed the situation and told the man to abandon his plan. The suspect then fled on foot towards Fischer-von-Erlach-Straße. Criminal police are investigating suspected attempted aggravated robbery.
