Store detective threatened as suspect tried to draw knife in Haldensleben
A 19-year-old man allegedly tried to draw a knife from his shoulder bag during a physical confrontation with a store detective at a supermarket in Haldensleben. The detective had stopped him as he was leaving the shop after an observed shoplifting incident. According to police, a witness intervened and prevented the man from drawing the knife. The knife was handed to the store detective. Police are investigating the man for theft involving a weapon.
