Woman seriously injured in knife attack in Hagen
A 38-year-old man is alleged to have forced his way into the apartment of his 27-year-old former partner in Hagen on 30 November 2025 and attacked her there with a knife. The woman sustained several serious injuries and was temporarily in life-threatening condition, though her condition later stabilised. A witness alerted police after the man forced her out of the apartment. Officers provisionally detained the suspect and secured the knife. A homicide unit is investigating, while prosecutors have applied for a detention warrant, including on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
