Man arrested after knife robbery at Hagen lottery shop
A 50-year-old man robbed a lottery shop in Hagen-Wehringhausen on the morning of 3 January. Wearing a mask and armed with a kitchen knife, he went behind the till area. When a 52-year-old employee noticed him, he held the knife in front of her, reached into the till and fled with about 30 euros in cash. He also tried to take tobacco products but dropped them before leaving the shop. Police identified the man and arrested him at his home, where they seized the mask and knife. No one was injured.
