Man threatens relative at petrol station in Habichtswald with knife

At a petrol station in Habichtswald-Ehlen on 1 June, a 20-year-old man is alleged to have first threatened an employee. When a relative of the woman arrived, the man allegedly drew a knife and threatened him with it.

The man initially left on a bicycle but, according to police, later returned to the petrol station premises and fired a blank-firing pistol into the air several times. Officers arrested him despite resistance; nobody was injured. Police recovered the discarded blank-firing pistol. The 20-year-old was taken into custody and investigations are ongoing.
