Man throws knives at officers in Griesheim
A 29-year-old man is alleged to have broken into an apartment in Griesheim early on Saturday morning. During the subsequent investigation, officers located him in another apartment. He is alleged to have deliberately thrown various objects and knives at the officers and to have continued displaying a knife. Specialist officers were deployed because there were indications that he was armed. At around 10:15, the man was provisionally detained; he sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for medical assessment. The investigation is ongoing.
