Man injured with knife during dispute in Göttingen
A man was injured with a knife in central Göttingen in the early hours of 15 August. Police said a dispute had first developed between two men near a hospitality venue. After the suspected theft of a wallet, another confrontation occurred near the junction of Burgstraße and Rote Straße, where the man sustained a cut. Emergency workers treated him at the scene before taking him to hospital; police said he was not in life-threatening danger at that time. One suspect was detained, while investigators continue to establish the precise sequence of events.
