Woman injures man with pointed object after dispute in Gifhorn

A woman is suspected of injuring a man known to her with a pointed object following a verbal dispute in Gifhorn. Witnesses called police at about 4 p.m. on Sunday after reporting an injured person on Calberlaher Damm. Officers later found the man near a petrol station with bloodstains on his clothing and a wound to his upper body. The 59-year-old was taken to hospital, and his injury was not considered life-threatening at that stage. The 52-year-old suspect was located at a nearby restaurant and released after police measures were completed. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
