Man threatens guests with knife at Bremen pub
At a pub in Bremen-Findorff on 1 June, a 43-year-old man initially threatened himself with a knife and a bottle and said he would kill anyone who got in his way. He then went to the outdoor area of a nearby ice-cream café and injured his neck with an object. About 20 to 30 guests fled the café, with some using furniture for protection. As the man acted aggressively towards responding officers, police overpowered him with a conducted energy device and took him first to hospital and then to a psychiatric clinic. Two police officers sustained minor injuries during the intervention, while no uninvolved people were injured.
