Woman threatens several people with kitchen knife in Gera
A 55-year-old woman allegedly threatened several people with a kitchen knife on Darwinstraße in Gera on 17 June. Two female employees of a psychological service were reportedly threatened verbally and by the display of the knife during an attempted contact, and the woman then briefly pursued them. According to police, she also threatened a woman with a child and her partner. Police restrained the woman, who was admitted to a specialist clinic after consultation with medical staff. No one was injured, and police opened an investigation on suspicion of making threats.
