Man seriously injured with knife in Gelsenkirchen
A 37-year-old man was seriously injured with a knife in Gelsenkirchen-Buer on 31 July. According to police and prosecutors, a 29-year-old man repeatedly drove a car toward him at about 10:40 p.m. and struck him. The injured man fled into a fast-food restaurant, was pursued, and was seriously injured with a knife at an adjoining petrol station. Police provisionally detained the suspect. The knife and vehicle were seized, and a homicide investigation unit is investigating.
