Duo detained after knife-point robbery in Gelsenkirchen
A 21-year-old man from Herne was allegedly forced to hand over cash at knife point in Gelsenkirchen-Rotthausen early on 30 May. He had previously arranged an online meeting with an unknown woman, during which payment for sexual acts had also been discussed. After he showed his cash at her request, a man allegedly appeared and demanded the money. The 21-year-old handed it over. Police later provisionally detained the 34-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man from Gelsenkirchen; the investigation is ongoing.
