Knife displayed during fight at Gelsenkirchen station forecourt
On Tuesday evening, 13 May 2025, a physical altercation involving several people took place at about 8:30 p.m. at the station forecourt in Gelsenkirchen's old town. Witnesses reported that brass knuckles were used and a knife was displayed. An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man sustained minor injuries, and the 19-year-old was taken to hospital by emergency medical services. The suspected attackers, described as about nine young men aged 18 to 20, fled. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and are seeking witnesses.
