Woman stabs man after dispute in Gelsenkirchen
A man sustained a minor knife injury during a dispute at a flat in Gelsenkirchen. According to police, a woman and a man had been drinking alcohol together before an argument began. The man is alleged to have strangled the woman, pulled her to the floor and approached her threateningly while armed with several pairs of scissors. The woman said she took a kitchen knife and stabbed toward the man, injuring him in the back near the kidney. He received medical treatment at the scene; police secured the knife and opened criminal proceedings against both people.
