Teenager injures mother with stabbing instrument in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
A teenage girl is alleged to have injured her 48-year-old mother in the upper body with a stabbing instrument at shared accommodation in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on 11 April. The woman fled to another room and received medical treatment. According to police, the teenager barricaded herself in a room while possessing the alleged weapon, prompting the deployment of special forces and a negotiation team; residents of the affected section were evacuated. She was provisionally detained without injury and later placed in a psychiatric clinic. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
