Man injured with knife during dispute in Fürstenwalde
A 27-year-old man is alleged to have injured a 33-year-old man with a knife at a shop on Eisenbahnstraße in Fürstenwalde on 18 August. According to police, the suspect had previously fled after shoplifting from the same store, later returned and started an argument there. Emergency personnel treated the injured man and took him to hospital. The suspect fled again but was pursued by several people and stopped at the railway station. Police took him into custody, and he faces allegations of simple and dangerous bodily harm as well as shoplifting.
