Man injures 48-year-old with knife in Freital
A 45-year-old man allegedly first pushed an 85-year-old woman in a stairwell in Freital on Saturday morning, causing her to fall and suffer injuries. She was taken to hospital. The man then allegedly smashed a balcony door window and injured a 48-year-old man with a knife in his apartment; he too was taken to hospital. The suspect initially fled, but was arrested at a petrol station in the early afternoon and allegedly resisted police officers during the arrest. Police are investigating, among other matters, suspected dangerous bodily harm and resistance to enforcement officers.
