74-year-old man dies after stab and cut injuries in Freiburg
A 74-year-old man died from multiple stab and cut injuries near a church in Freiburg's Rieselfeld district on Tuesday, 8 September. Police said the victim and the suspect apparently did not know each other, and that there were no indications of a religious motive. A 30-year-old suspect known to police is in pre-trial detention on suspicion of murder. The motive remains unclear.
