Man injured with knife in Frechen
An unidentified man is alleged to have injured a 47-year-old man with a knife in Frechen on the evening of 22 March. According to police, the man encountered the suspect on Burgstraße, where the suspect allegedly first displayed a knife. The victim fled towards a sports ground and turned towards the municipal accommodation facility. The suspect allegedly pursued him and injured him with the knife. The suspect then fled, while security staff alerted emergency services and police. Criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
