Knife attack on 42-year-old thwarted in Frankfurt (Oder)
Late on 17 May, a 42-year-old man was reportedly attacked from behind while walking to his car in the Pablo-Neruda-Block area of Frankfurt (Oder). One person allegedly tried to injure him with a knife. The man fended off the attack and took possession of the knife. Another man then allegedly sprayed pepper spray into his face. The 42-year-old was able to get to security staff, while the perpetrators fled. Criminal police are investigating, and the knife has been secured for forensic examination.
