Knife attack at Frankfurt subway stop
A 32-year-old man sustained a cut to the head at the Hausen subway stop in Frankfurt am Main on 28 October 2026 and was subsequently treated in hospital. He and an acquaintance had got off a subway train at about 8:58 p.m. when, according to police, an unknown man approached them from behind and insulted the 32-year-old. As he turned around, the man allegedly injured him with a knife. His companion restrained the attacker, preventing a further attack. The suspect then fled on foot towards Am Lohwald. Police are seeking witnesses.
