Man remanded in custody after alleged knife attack in Frankfurt
A 35-year-old man allegedly injured his 42-year-old opponent with a knife in Frankfurt on 4 July. The incident followed a verbal dispute at an accommodation facility on Karlsruher Straße at about 19:15, which later moved onto the street.
The victim suffered several superficial injuries and was treated in hospital. Police arrested the suspect shortly afterwards on Gutleutstraße and secured the alleged weapon. A judge issued a detention order on suspicion of attempted homicide; investigators are continuing to examine the background.
