Man seriously injured with knife in Frankfurt
A 26-year-old man was seriously injured with a knife during an altercation in Frankfurt’s station district on Sunday. Police said a verbal dispute following a medication purchase had escalated into a physical confrontation involving a minor and a 21-year-old man. The 26-year-old was knocked to the ground and kicked; after he left, the minor allegedly followed him and injured him with a knife.
The victim sustained stab and cut wounds and was admitted to hospital. The minor suspect was detained at the scene and was due to appear before a judge. The 21-year-old was also detained but released after police measures were completed.
